You can’t travel while your passport being renewed.

It has been stuck at 35% since a month (4th July)

Is it pending submission?

Application submitted nearly a month ago to immigration department, but the result has not been declared still.

It’s still at 35% without any update.

Ask the university to send a confirmation with your application number again to EMGS. It happens quite often.

I went to IMMI office last month and already took an interview, after that he said I need to wait from 14days to 20 days working. But until now when I ask him about my situation, he just said wait and wait.

Eval application? Can be filed anywhere in the world outside Malaysia.
Single entry visa? The same country indicated in the eval or else ask for amendment to place of issue.

Yes its online. Once u got eval then u can go to malaysia embassy in country u live in and u can get SEV Visa

Yes provided that you clearly indicate this to your university. Tell them specifically the country from which you need to get the Single entry visa from.

Is it possible to apply for a special pass?

EMGS said that Special Visa is only if your visa is expired and you want to “leave” the country. Special is not for extending your stay in Malaysia

Your university (degree uni) can apply for Visa Progression. So you don’t need to leave Malaysia.

Problem is, in order to apply visa progression, I need completion certificate of my current programme. But it will be ready after my visa expires.
