Hello Emgs officer,

Please my application have been on 35% for a long time now, I have done my medical screenings as required and also according to emgs requirements I needed to exit Malaysia so I can submit my exit stamp. Which I think my school have submitted but up till now no change or update on my application . Also I want to ask what is SEV, plus I didn’t go to my country I travelled to a near by country Philippines… s do I still need to come with the SEV? And even if I had travelled back to my home country, I still couldn’t have been able to get an SEV because we don’t have a Malaysian embassy in my home country.

  SEV is single entry visa which allows you to enter Malaysia and do you medical screening there and get you student pass to be endorsed. Without SEV you can’t enter to Malaysia and get student visa. If you don’t have Malaysian embassy in your home country you can apply for SEV in any other country where Malaysian embassy is available. Moreover if your university won’t renew own license your VAL can’t be approved. Only after completion of renewal your percentage will move on.
