Ask your institution. I guess there is an instruction on the website of consulting the nearest embassy from other country. Go through FAQ.

Hi Vanessa,
Please note that if there is no Malaysian Embassy in your home country, you can refer to the nearest Malaysian Embassy at the nearest country.
Have a nice day.

Hi!
1. As you arrived at the airport, the staff will direct you to the hotel for quarantine (the hotel will be based on the staff and subject to availability)
2. As you have received the eVal, then you can apply for Travel AuthorizationHope that helps, have a great day
-
Thank you so much, Elia! Yeah, that helps a lot, as I was not quite sure about the travel authorization procedure. Got a bit panicked as I’ve seen that some people had to wait a very long time for their travel authorization, thought.
-
My pleasure, as far as I know, it will take approximately 21 days to process the travel authorization, yet you may refer to EMGS website for details about travel authorization procedure

-
You will recive ur TA along with ur visa if ur a new student
-
Really? I just knew it, where did you get the information from?
-
-
Oh, so in this case I won’t have to buy a flight ticket in advance, right? Cause that’s a problem when it comes to waiting for the visa and all the paperwork
-
My application is 70% and ready to submit my documents to the Malaysia embassy

Hi there!
I am going for an exchange to KL in March and, as understood, I have to quarantine for at least 7 days.
I am now in the process of searching for an accommodation, but I am curious, when exactly can I enter the country? Is it mentioned after I receive the Visa or which is the procedure?
Because now I am wondering also what date I…[Read more]-
I strongly doubt that the government will let anyone in the country before August. They’re trying to control the situation first.
Yet again this is just a personal opinion from someone who’s residing in Malaysia. -
As I understood from the university I am supposed to study at, there is a travel ban only for the UK students.. that’s why I’m a bit confused (coming from Denmark)
-
Hi,
Kindly be informed that you will only be able to enter Malaysia once your VAL has been approved. However, please note that the Immigration Department has suspended processing applications. Therefore, we will only be able to advise you once the Immigration Departmes resumes the application process.
Have a nice day.

In my case, I had to send it to my university and they forwarded it to EMGS. Maybe you can try asking your institution’s international office?
-
Hi Vanessa,
If you created the application via our website, ou can submit our documents via email to additionaldoc(at)emgs.com.my. However, if our institution created the application, your institution would have to submit your documents.
Thank you.
