My intake also starts at 29th march and i will fly to Malaysia for next week to apply for student pass stickers. I think its okay to fly earlier as long as u got VAL and SEV in hand.

Hello Julia Chang i asked my university and they I should enter malaysia after 27 February because. One month before the actual intake.

My uni did not mention anything about me cannot enter and stay in malaysia before my commencement date. Besides i have told them i got interview waiting and Marathon at the end of January and they told me as long as I got the val and sev i can remain in Malaysia. Besides these counted feb and march are my semester break.

I wouldn’t recommend that. Most of the universities advise their students to reach a week prior to the commencement date. Your student pass validity is counted from the day it is issued and not from the day your classes begin.
