Reminder for existing students with expired passes:
In order not to be in the uncomfortable situation that I had with my application delayed for additional three weeks, make sure before you submit your passport to the university that you have paid the medical insurance + renewal fees for every expired year. Also make sure that your visa department has submitted to emgs a document indicating the correct number of years you are renewing.

I learnt the lesson the hard way. Don’t be like me 😉
