Can anyone who just arrived in malaysia share with us the documents required. I understand we need the permission letter and the eval as well as SEV for some countries. The eval and permission letter is both received from emgs. Is there another entry pass needed to be applied via mytravelpass ? Please advice thank you

Besides the emgs student pass and remission to letter to enter malaysia. Is my travel pass application also required ?

Hi,

Please note that the Immigration Department requires the travel authorization. However, with regards to travel pass, you would have to check with the airlines on their requirements.

Hi EMGS, if I’m awaiting my VAL amendment due to new passport number correction on old VAL, am I able to track this via emgs app using my new passport of old passport number ?

Hi EMGS. Wanted to double check. Previously mentioned cyberjaya immigration is back working. Can emgs confirm that Val applications are being processed too? Thank you so much

Please note that Cyberjaya Immigration Department has resume operation with a minimal headcount. Hence, applications will be processed accordingly.

Please note that Cyberjaya Immigration Department has resumed the operation with minimal headcount. Rest assured, any updates regarding the VAL applications will be notified accordingly.

Please note that at present, the Immigration Department is still not operating. Hence, the application process will still be on hold until further notice. Rest assured, we will notify students once the Immigration Department resumes operations.

Hi Teresa,

Please note that due to Movement Control Order, Immigration Department is currently not processing VAL applications from 15th June to 28th June 2021. Rest assured, any further updates regarding this matter will be notified accordingly.

  With the new extension announced on the FMCO, will immigration start processing VALs again? Officers can work from home instead of delaying processing for 2 months no?
