Good day to all
I’m an Indian passport holder.
I’m traveling to Malaysia 22nd may 2021 as a new student.
I’m living and working in Oman currently with no travel history to India in the past 2 years. I’ve received my SEV 2 days back and the Malaysian embassy in Oman has also confirmed me I can travel to Malaysia. The ban is only for flights…[Read more]-
Hi,
We understand that you will be travelling from Oman. However, the travel ban includes student’s nationality as well. Hence, you will not be able to enter Malaysia until the travel ban is lifted. We will keep institutions and students updated on this matter.

Hi,
Please note that you will be able to enter Malaysia provided that you adhere to the entry procedures. The approval to grant you entry is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Officers at the airport.

Hi Tahseen,
We understand your concern. However, as mentioned previously, there is no stipulated time frame for the VAL extension process. Your documents are currently ready to be submitted to the Immigration Department. Rest assured, your institution will be notified on the progress of your application.

Hi Tahseen,
Please note that we received your application on the 03rd of February. Hence, we are in the midst of reviewing your documents. However, the approval will solely be at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

Please note that Bangladesh is still on the list of banned countries. Hence, you are not allowed to enter Malaysia until further notice. Rest assured, we will keep students and institutions updated on this matter.
