First you have to get approval for Quarantine, then update on MySejahata App. Then you can apply for pre-arrival form on EMGS site.

For international students, after getting e-val, travel authorization and booking the ticket, we have to submit pre-arrival form. So for that my application is getting cancelled and they are not specifying the reason as well.

Hi. I recently applied for Home Quarantine and it was rejected because I am travelling from Saudi Arabia which is a high risk country.
I am required to undergo quarantine at “designated quarantine station”
Do I need to book a hotel in this case? Where is this “designated quaratine station”?

a friend of mine brought her positive test results as well as negative PCR for them to check. All she did was a rapid test at the airport and didn’t need quarantine

Yes Sahil. I have just applied for eVISA and the transaction was successful. I think going to the Malaysian Embassy along with your application form would be more feasible in this situation.

if you’re vaccinated and have gotten covid, u don’t need to quarantine as long as u recovered 11 days ago

Ah I see. That’s what I was wondering. Whether or not I can leave the airport depending on my layover period.
So basically, I will need to quarantine once I land in KL even though I’ll be there for a couple of hours.

i don’t think you’re allowed to leave the airport unless your layover is more than 24 hours. even then you definitely need to check with the relevant authorities since you need to quarantine regardless of whether you have a connecting flight since you want to exit the airport

Hello.
I will have a connecting flight from KL to Johor and if I have a long stay in KL, am I allowed to leave the airport to go to my relative’s house or not?
If not, will they provide me with hotel to be quarantined until my next flight to Johor?

Hi Jamilu, as long as you have a signed rental contract, i think you’ll get approved but it also depends on the risk of transmission.
If you’re the only one staying at the condo then there’s no risk of transmission but if there’s someone already living and you’re splitting the rent and bills with them then you need to mention that in the home…[Read more]

I applied on 4th january and got approved on 11th january
It costs nothing since you already have a signed rental contract with the owner

if it expired after february 2020, ask your university to apply for a renewal with the new passport number. once you’ve done that, apply for travel authorization which will take approximately 15-20 working days

universities were allowed to before the pandemic. i’m not sure if it is allowed now but my university has said they cannot do so. it’s best to contact your university for this as they can better guide you

About a week maybe. After it reached 35%, I had to submit accommodation details to EMGS, then less than 14 days later, I got eVAL
