While opening profile at mySehjatra, will i give address or home country?

Hi Eva,
Congratulations on the approval of your application. If you are from a country that requires a Single Entry Visa (SEV) to enter Malaysia you are required to proceed to the Malaysian Embassy in your home country and apply for the SEV upon receipt of the eVAL.
However, if you are from a country that does not require the SEV you can proceed…[Read more]

They know if normal eVAL takes too much time the student can go somewhere else but if you are applying for eVAL extension you are already a student and thus have completed a semseter have also most likely paid uni fee so now you are invested and cannot think about abandoning studies thus they can delay and see how much mental torture can the…[Read more]

Hi Moussamb,
We understand your concern. Please note that there is no stipulated timeframe for VAL extension processing. The approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. You may refer to the Immigration website for their contact details.

How could we recover from this situation? I don’t know really what should I do? My research program field is wildlife management this is because our department has no online classes and another student already joined the campus. On top of that university authorities had applied for an EVAL extension over 48 days. I need to…[Read more]-

I got TA and visa renewal approval from egms in around 20 days. Once I arrive to Penang, the sticker will take around three days by USM.
-
But I have applied for Eval extension for 40 days. I am still in Bangladesh, I’m also a new student and God knows how long it will take to complete.😭
-
So you are talking about the Eval not the visa. I have no idea. Two years ago the process took 21 days in total. These days things are getting done on a rather sluggish pace due to the pandemic.
-
Don’t worry I also didn’t got eval, it’s been 50 days to me

It will be 80% unless you visit Malaysia. Visit the website through using computer/laptop. Most importantly eVAL extension can’t be checked through emgs website. Only institute can get the updates. Please contact your institution visa officer for the update

Did you get Eval recently?
-
Yes, yesterday I have got eVAL.
-
How long it took time to extend, I have applied on 5th October through my University. Still, there is no update

Quarantine is compulsory for international students. You have to apply for quarantine by the guidelines provided by your respective university.
-
I heard that quarantine will be off from 15th instant.Am I right?
-
I haven’t heard of that. Hope this happens. The quarantine fees are very high.
-
-
-
Hi,
Quarantine is still mandatory for students entering Malaysia. Kindly liaise with your institution with regards to your entry.
Thank you.
