You can check the proper reason from Application status history. May be your University did not pay EMGS processing payment and documents yet.

If you have already submitted your medical checkup reports then it should be fine. You do not need to submit any photos. Just the passport should be fine. Just bring along along any documents which were given to you, if any, at the time you applied for your visa.

I submitted my documents for my student visa renewal to monash university this Monday (4/2/19) and until now my renewal application has not even started. Does anyone know how long it takes to create he student record and start application?

Hi Siddhant,

Tuesday and wednesday were public holidays in Malaysia, many places are actually shut until 10th nd hence the delay.
But dont worry..they generally ask u for docs upto 4 months in advance..so dey have enuf tym to process it..maybe u shud chck the status next week.
