Hi Shwan,
Since you have renewed your passport, you would have to transfer your student pass from your old passport to your new passport prior to applying for a renewal application.

Good evening EMGS officer i have 2 question
First u said those students that there student expired on February onward they can still procced with visa renewa even if our visa expires right but mine my visa will be expired on 21/20/2021 so even if my visa expires i can still procced with visa renewal application right but i renew my passport so…[Read more]-

Please note that as mentioned, at present, the Immigration Department is allowing students to renew their student pass if their pass expired from the 01st of February 2020 onwards and the transfer endorsement process has to be done when you are in Malaysia. Hi Shwan,
We understand your concern. However, you can only transfer your student pass once you are in Malaysia as the transfer endorsement application can only be submitted through your institution. We will only be able to advise further once we receive an update on the entry for students from the banned countries.
