Zii your case is not clear even to me let alone EMGS and immigration which conduct a thorough investigation of your document.

  Okay. So there was supposed to be a visa renewal but I couldn’t do that because my passport expired. So I had to apply for a new passport. Of which I did and I sent it in to my university.     Now everything is clear. From my experience when everything is in order renewal is a routine process taking 3 weeks or maximum a month. However, if there is any sort of delay because of passport renewal or any other thing then the time becomes really unpredictable.
