Apply SEV if ur countries is on the list that needs sev to enter malaysia. If not u can fly malaysia with only your VAL.

Julia i am from pakistan and have applied to UTM for a phd position.my status is 80 mean i got the eval now my query is whether Pakistan is in the list of countries which doesn’t need SEV?

You can travel to Malaysia immediately after getting your VAL. Being a Brunei passport holder you don’t need the SEV.
