Hey Shafiq! You need to inform your university about your itinerary and they’ll arrange for the representative at there to clear your immigration facilities in KLIA. I’m a PhD (research mode) student. My VAL expired and my Institute requested the cancellation of the expired VAL. It’s almost a month and still it hasn’t been cancelled. The EMGS says it’s been sent to the Immigration Department , and it’s on their “sole discretion” that how long does it take.
