For accommodation, you should email your university about the issue regarding on the accomodation for the student and then you should tell the uni for the place you choose to stay. After that, your uni will give you form or documents for accomodation data you should fill in. Your university will handle the rest once you finish up the form or document after you send back email to you university. Goodluck and asap

i have read that to apply for the visa after the VAL your passport needs to be valid for atleast a year from the point of applying, so keep that in mind
