Hello, please can you help me confirm whether my passport is submitted to emgs for student pass process or not, this is because I have submitted to institution since last week but I recieved no acknowledgement from emgs and my status has not change from awaiting student passport submission. Thank you.

  Is your Val approved? are you in your home country now? if yes, for you to get your passport endorsed by EMGS for student pass you must arrive in Malaysia

    @mukhtar_1 I am in malaysia since April and I have submitted my original passport to my institution. Just waiting for my student pass and it’s taking time.

  @Abhijeet, Since your admission is against September, you can apply for Val now because the process will take a couple of weeks to materialize, this will enable you to have enough time for preparations, my case is different because the exchange of documents is between my institution and EMGS, as you are aware EMGS is a link between institutions and immigration department
