My VAL was rejected and appeal was made in 31/10/2017 , and since then there has been no progress or any indication of what’s going on, when will this appeal be done? Isn’t there a standard procedure on these thing?

Sorry man. Its sad that when ever you have been dejected. your app may be delayed 1.5 to 2 month b4 you finally get approval. My appeal was on last week and I will patiently wait till jan or feb.
