Maybe they require some other document for verification, As I saw some students got rejection a day or two ago. You can search their post.
Yes, I got rejected for being 17.
Now they require a supporting letter from my country’s embassy for the appealing process
how much time will it take ?
Does it depends on the institute ?
It depends on you to submit the required document and also on your Institute too. My Institute appeal against my rejection on the next day I have submitted the document.
Though my case was not related to age.
It’s doesn’t depend on you or the institute either. It depends on the immigration of Malaysia and embassy of your country in Malaysia. Immigration of Malaysia will ask for a supporting letter, and your institute will collect it from your country’s embassy
