your university haven’t sent your papers to the emgs yet
Am having same problem. It’s tracking on a computer but not found on the app
Dont worry sometimes app needs to be upgrade just check on Google if there everything is ok so dont need to be worry

Please be advised that you may follow up on the status of your passport via the EMGS mobile tracker or the EMGS official website. Kindly refer to the link https://educationmalaysia.gov.my/emgs/application/searchForm/. Please key-in your Passport Number and Nationality in order to access your passport status. Alternatively, you may also download the EMGS mobile app to track your passport status directly from your phone. Click here to download: http://goo.gl/tdPQFP.
However, you may liaise with your institute for further clarification or else you may contact us at +603 2782 5888 or drop us an email at enquiry(at)emgs.com.my from Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 8 pm including Public Holidays in regards to your application status. Have a nice day.
