I’m 26years old,
I asked my university to apply for my mom for dependent visa, because i have beby here and I’m alone and i need her to help me taking care of my baby, but the visa unit at my university told me ghat now the dependent visa is not open to apply,

I already speak to visa until at my university and they asked me to apply for MTP first to enter Malaysia as tourist and then they can convert the tourist visa to dependent visa.
Please advise me if that’s a proper way

I have a question please as I have travel authorisation valid and I was waiting for my son’s MTP approval but now there are new sops means his dependant pass expired during mco and I can apply for Sev only?????

I think all dependent can apply through the student’s institution. But the student must have to have a valid student pass (not expired)
