I applied for student pass and the application stuck at 30% and show me this comment
1) We regret to inform you that we are unable to proceed with this application as the Immigration Department of Malaysia system shows an active application linked to this passport number Reference no: VP/PLS/14311/GAATP5040138 17/01/2017. The institute is required to cancel the active pass and revert to EMGS with supporting documents showing that the earlier application has been canceled.
I have been trying to solve this issue for 5 months, anybody knows what should I do?

  Contact your previous uni if u change uni and major to cancel your current pass so it wont delay your new pass application. As i know they wont proceed with new applications if there is an active applications linked to your passport number. Its been 5 months so you should be able to cancel it cos cancelling takes 2 or 3 weeks only. If u never request your uni to cancel your previous pass they wont cancel it. U have to inform ur uni if u switch uni or major and applying for a new application so they can cancel the old pass.
