Good morning, my friends. Is there any update on the licensing issue at City University? Has the problem been resolved yet?

Hello EMGS,

I am planning to apply for a new student visa next month. However, my passport expires on 4th April 2026. I understand that the EMGS requirement is for the passport to have a validity of 18 months or more. Given this, do I need to renew my passport before proceeding with the visa application?

emgs, please help me. I’m in Malaysia. I finished my language course, and I want to join a University, but unfortunately, my university said to me, you have to leave the country first, so now I need your help because right now I can’t travel.

Hi,

We understand your predicament. However, if you are transferring from a language center, you would have to exit the country as you are not allowed to be in the country during the application process.
