I have utmost respects to let you know
Know that 90% of my Visa renewal has been done by emgs.But I have some problems for which I cannot come in Malaysia right now and hope that I must come by 1st week of August.
My Visa will expire on 22nd of August.

What is the outstanding balance? If you have someone from Nigeria that is in malaysia you can send the naira equivalent into his Nigerian account so he can pay for you to avoid extra charges.

Bros just pay the outstanding balance. No one will explain that to you. I had same issues last year also and i had to pay the balance. Just pay to save yourself the stress and time wastage. Seems they use a different exchange rate.

The early stages takes abit of time. As soon as you exceed 15%, it will move very fast.

Ezekiel. Your university has to send the copy of VAL through post. Malaysia embassy in Nigeria doesn’t accept the scanned copy. You also need NDLEA certificate if you are going for a degree. You can add me up on Facebook for more details

Please scan the required documents and email it to your school. Your school will send it to EMGS. I had same issues but today I have my entry visa

Ask your school to courrier it to you. Once they send it, it takes approximately one week to get to you

@Ifeoma. You need to ask your school to send the hardcopy of the VAL to you as soon as possible. You need the original copy to apply for SEV if you are from Nigeria

@shakir. It took me three days to get to 80% from 35%. I got to 35% on Monday but today its 80%. My VAL has been sent to USM
