I have utmost respects to let you know
Know that 90% of my Visa renewal has been done by emgs.But I have some problems for which I cannot come in Malaysia right now and hope that I must come by 1st week of August.
My Visa will expire on 22nd of August.

Which documents will I use to get sev after I get:val,passport picture,international passport and admission letter

Ezekiel. Your university has to send the copy of VAL through post. Malaysia embassy in Nigeria doesn’t accept the scanned copy. You also need NDLEA certificate if you are going for a degree. You can add me up on Facebook for more details

how many days does it take to get 80%
I am now 35% since yesterday

@shakir. It took me three days to get to 80% from 35%. I got to 35% on Monday but today its 80%. My VAL has been sent to USM

You need to arrange and pay, then they will send it to you through DHL. Alternatively you can authorized someone to collect it from IMCC at USM and post it to you or send it via someone coming home

Do you collect your original admission letter? If not you should also request for it because you will be needing it.

F u get your VAL u need to book your flight to malaysai after medical check up so your will get 100% but did u pay emgs ?

This is completely fine until your name and candidate number/applicant number is mentioned on the bank recepit or the evidence of payment.
Secondly it takes around 10 days for the process to exceed 5%

I got response in around 1 month. Regularly check the status from EMGS and also keep the USM visa officer in loop. Best of luck I too just got my VAL dispatched to USM after a month

Use google because currencies can change quickly

You can use XE.com to find the CURRENCIES Exchange rate. But it may vary, depends on the money changer or bank sell it to you. Last time I checked, 1 USD equals to 4.3 MYR
