If you mean your passport is damaged by water, then it is too risky for you to travel with it. Countries around the world are very strict on damaged passports. Even if you get the sev, the immigration control at the airport in Malaysia will exercise its discretion on accepting or rejecting your admission to the country. I think the best thing is to consult with the Malaysian embassy and to have someone in Malaysia to ask for you at the immigration department. The risk however is too high. Getting a new passport and amending the val and sev will be more preferable.
If your enquiry is related to the damaged passport, kindly refer to the Malaysian Embassy at your home country for clarification regarding this matter.
