Thank you for a prompt reply, what would happen if one enters the country while still waiting for a VAL from EMGS as a tourist. Some of my students have planned to travel to Indonesia from Thailand via MALAYSIA, and they applied for VALs a week a go. They planned to travel around the end of this July.

Please be informed that you may travel to another country upon the submission of your VAL application. However, you are advised to enter Malaysia after the VAL approval from your home country.
