Currently I think it’ll be difficult for Iranians unless they are extending their banking relationship with an international bank of which they are already a client.
You can check out Maybank’s MyDebit Kawanku or Big pay. But if these don’t work, Some foreigners also use their local friend’s bank account as their own. Meaning that their local friend will receive their salary for them and they’ll pass it over every month.
Hi there! Yes, you can open a local bank account here as an international student and it’s under your name and all. Just ask your university to issue the letter in order for you to make a bank account and ask the branch of your chosen bank about other requirements (they usually want you to bring your offer letter, student card, blablabla it depends really). I would recommend you Maybank, or CIMB, or RHB as most people use those banks. Good luck!
Not from Iran, but what’s your question. I’ll try to find it.
Hi, thanks for your answer.
Can I open a bank account?

I have a class in 5 hrs so couldn’t find all the info, I’ll look into it later on if I can find something.
Dear Kashef thank you so much for your info.
And thanks for the time
