My name is Omar Alwirfilli (passport number:AB334802) old passport (FRHH0L20) I’m an international student at monash university

I recently attempted to travel to Malaysia but upon arrival to the airport I was sent back to
my country because I didn’t have a travel authorisation letter. but as I was in the airport I applied for one, however in the category of estimated departure and arrival date I put 17/02/2022 and 18/02/2022.

My university representative told me I should apply for a new travel authorisation letter with a new estimated departure and arrival date. Yet when I tried to do that. I wasn’t able to. I think that this was due to my application still being pending At 50%. what should I do in this situation? Is there a need to re-do it and if so what steps should I take?

Please advise.
