I submitted my application since November last year and still stuck at 50 percent. Now immigration gave me my 3rd special pass and wrote “preparing to leave the country” and I have a wife and kid here. Malaysians International Student Rules are a bit taught.
After I go through your text and I understood that they require to submit you the exit stamp and you have to get out of Malaysia. So they will step forward your application one immigration got required stamp. Wish you lucky.

Application type is New-progression. And yes it’s with the same university UPM. Thanks for your response

I did called and asked EMGS regarding this matter back for few weeks ago, they told me that for the progression visa you don’t need to exit the country an provide the exit stump unless you applied by yourself. For your record, if you applied online by yourself they will ask you to exist, but if the school did it on behalf of you they shouldn’t…[Read more]

Yea, that’s the process. If you completed your previous course and want to proceed to a higher course you MUST exit the country or you won’t get the approved, that is called “progression application” check it here https://educationmalaysia.gov.my/how-to-apply/academic-progression.html/

My application visa is pending on 30% because the institute needs my exit stamp from Malaysia. I sent it to the immigration but they said ((we cant accept it)). Ask your institute for further information and tell them to send your exit stamp when they accepted it,thats better. I sent to UPM but they dont response. So, could you help me please?

The international Office was a bit idle during the holiday. It is better if you contact the international Office directly and explain to them.. They re not working today Wednesday so I suggest you call them tomorrow. Their phone number is 03-8946 6048.
