You should contact the university and tell them about your flight and arriving hour regardless of weather they will send someone to the airport or not. My University is a public university (same as usm ) and it send its stuff t to the airport and arrange all your post arrival papers and procedures .
Make sure to show your val and offer letter to the officer at the airport , he should stamp your passport with student pass , other student did not pay attention and their passport was stamped with tourist visa , in such case you ll not be able to register at your university and probably have to go outside malaysia and apply again

Nit stamped with student pass but they will stamp u with the validity same as whats written on the SEV to facilitate u with endorsement of student pass. The student pass endorsement xant be done at airport arrival, you have to surrender yr passport to university.

I have SEV of tourist visa. My VAL is also approved. What should i do now? Can i get student pass on visit visa??
Sev of tourist visa? No such thing. Sev and tourist visa is 2 diff thing. And no you cannot get student pass on visit visa. U will be stamped with the validity as same as your SEV (in my case they stamp me 3 months to facilitate with student pass endorsement same as whats written on SEV)
