My institution just approved my online application last 14th August 2017 and my program is already starting 4th September 2017. I don’t think there is enough time to process my visa so I am planning to just cancel my application. What do I have to do to get a refund of my payment? Thank you so much! View

Same is the case with me. I applied 3 days before also paid the processing fees but still haven’t received any message from them for conformation

I applied on 22 July, only today have I received an email confirming that my application status is complete but telling me that passport copies that I have submitted do not meet EMGS requirements because there are more than two passport pages scanned per page and that I must resubmit them with proper modifications. Me too. 🙁 I’m having a crisis right now. My parents just want me to cancel my slot for my program. Don’t know what to do anymore. 🙁
Try to contact your uni .. you can regester for this semester and issue the visa, but you will start next semester.
Noneed to cancel if u want to study and want to go Malaysia.if ur program starting 4th September u can re _registration ur application u can change ur intake
I say don’t give up just yet, my application was approved on 7/8 and my VAL was accepted on the 15th. You might end up having a very quick process, so wait for a couple more days and try sending emails to EMGS to hurry things up.

You’ll be then placed for the next semester which is not more than 2months later of your original course starting date so don’t take drastic desicions and cancel just give it a thought… I’ve been placed for the next semester too so its all okay if you take it positively 😊
Am even thinking of deferment right now
