Hello Emgs,
I would like to ask that my friend is a Japanese citizen having Passport number TS5104366 and she successfuly got eVal as well as Travel Notice. May I ask that Travel notice is same as SEV? Because Malaysian embassy in Japan replied that Japanese don’t need SEV to travel Malaysia. And If I want to visit emabssy on this matter, they don’t have appointment available until June 2021. However my class comencement is from 29th March and I have travel notice only for 1 month started from March 5th. I need your quick response in this matter. Thanx.

  Please note that referring to your friend’s application, she is required to obtain the SEV prior to her entry into Malaysia. Kindly refer to https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/guidelines/sev-required-countries.html to list of countries that requires SEV.
