Let me explain the situation. The issue is not at all related to nationality but what alarmed the MoH is that many people coming from Umrah failed to comply with home quarantine. The fact that many people who came from Umrah tested negative before travel from Saudia then tested positive in Malaysia was a grave concern for MoH.…[Read more] -

Hello Muddi. Nothing in the home quarantine guidelines refers to rejection based on nationality, except for some nationalities that are not allowed even to enter the country for omicron reasons. as far new circular, Saudi arab also included in mandatory Hotel Quarantine list. So there is very high chance to reject your HQ application.

Hi,
Effective from 1st November 2021, the Immigration Department of Malaysia will allow International Students with a valid student pass to enter Malaysia without applying for the Travel Authorization via EMGS. Kindly note that the student pass must be valid at the point of entry into Malaysia

Hi,
Please be informed that you are required to have a valid pass at the point of entry, as such you will not be required to apply for a Travel Authorisation and SEV.

If you have valid visa ,you don’t need TA/SEV.

Your university has to approve before emgs can proceed with your travel authorization application

I got the approval from my university and they send it to emgs ..
now now its in progress with emgsis this mean its not going to be delayed ( travel authorization)

As far as I know, if you have a valid student visa, you don’t need to apply for travel authorization.
All you need is your passport, vaccination certificate with QR code, PCR test not more than 48 hours ago, Hotel quarantine receipt or home quarantine approval

Correct. If you have a valid student pass, you need just to book for quarantine and travel to Malaysia with a negative covid test and vaccination certificate on the mysejehtera application. That’s it.
My friend got rejected for JED airport. he has a valid student pass, home quarantine paper , and pcr test. But got rejected because the said we need MyEntry or MyPass. I went to the consulate they said we don’t need it if valid student pass
