I don’t know about your country, but as for me once I recieved the VAL copy from the university (pdf file) I printed it and took it to malaysian embassy in saudi Arabia, the issued me the visy (single entry)

mm, so I guess I’ll just have to wait .. although I think something is very wrong especially with Limkokwing.

According to EMGS site, they said 14 working days.
Which is 2weeks 4 days

Went through the same process. The university sends you the VAL, since you need the original document to apply for a single entry visa. Time taken to receive the document depends on the country you live in. My VAL was sent my Limkokwing too, it took around a week and a half.
