We understand your concern. Please note that there is no stipulated timeframe for VAL extension processing. The approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. You may refer to the Immigration website for their contact details.

I know of some new students who got visa within one month and entered Malaysia already in November, why no action is being taken to extend the validity of old student visa & eval.

Yes exactly! My friend applied for extension in mid of October. Till now no action was taken. Everyone is pointing at each other. It’s not even a new application for the to verify everything. It’s an application which was already verified and approved, and they just need to extend it now. Idk, what’s taking them so long just to extend it

Hi,

The Travel Authorization approvals are issued together with the Electronic Visa Approval
Letter (eVAL) and the expiry date is co-terminus with the expiry date of the eVAL.
