Hi EMGS Officer, will it be a problem to visit Malaysia for a social tour during the processing of VAL? I really need to go to KL and stay for 2 weeks from January 5 to 19 for attending my son in school. Then I will return to Bangladesh and plan to go again with VAL and SEV by January 28. Will it delay the processing of VAL? My PhD session will start on January 30 at IIum. Please advise.

  Dear Md Asraful Islam,
  
  We understand your predicament. However, it is not advisable for you to enter Malaysia on a social pass while your VAL application is being processed as it may lead to the rejection of your VAL.
  
  You are advised to wait in Bangladesh until your VAL has been approved by the Immigration Department.
