Would anyone local please guide me on what is the preferable appearance/style for female students in UM?? Is Hijab mandatory or better to wear?

  Hi Salamalaikum,
  It is not mandatory to wear hijab in university, but it is better to wear since we are Mushlim.
  Even you are Mushlim women, we should follow Islamic rules and regulation, I hope I answered your question.
