The Director General of the Malaysian Immigration Department announced on 4th of October 2020 that the entry for all foreign students to Malaysia will be postponed until 31st December 2020. The Government of Malaysia has made this decision amid a growing number of COVID-19 cases in the country. This strict border measures are in place to protect the health of all communities within Malaysia and to control the spread of COVID-19 cases within the country. These restrictions are subject to change based on the Government’s review on the number of COVID-19 cases from time to time.
