Like point of me asking is was your application overall fast or was the beginning process slow and 35 to 70 fast?

But would recommend atleast 2 to 3 days before, so you face no issues

Oof I kinda can’t remember mine properly, but I think it was the documents you’ve already used for applying (like a photo, passport etc) plus your approval letters

You can start your application online and check, you don’t have to submit it immediately, you can save your progress and come back to it later, I completed my own after a week

BTW, if your vacc records don’t update within a week after you’ve filled in details, go to your MySJ trace tab, click the ‘help’ on top right of covid vaccination status, and continue from there. It should update immediately.

Just saying incase 😅 my friend had this issue for months, and it caused her problems in Malaysia

Would recommend any time before you depart, you can even do it now. Earlier would be better incase you run into any issues, the app sometimes gives trouble updating vaccination records

A bit confused, why are you applying for SEV when you already have eVisa?

It took mine a day or so. Your flight ticket will also need verification, so do book that
accordingly.

If your documents are fine, there should be no issue with verification and validation, and a week is more than enough time (including uploaded flight ticket)

Please check with your institution or Malaysian embassy before you do anything, as it may cause issues

Would recommend confirming with your institution for further steps (or emailimg emgs directly), but if you already have an application for renewal of visa, then you’re good to go

Contact your institution they handle the renewal typically. I’m not sure about how much time it will take however..

Did you apply yourself the first time you got it, or did your institution apply for you?

You’ll need an introduction letter issued by the IO of your institution, as well as visa approval letter with your other documents

Try reinstalling and clearing data maybe?

I already paid for insurance though, should I ask for a refund or anything? I haven’t traveled yet

You will definitely need to renew, you’ll need eval number to apply for visa
