URGENT HELP NEEDED:
Hi, my passport is expiring on October 21st, and my visa is expiring on March 18th.. I’m trying to renew my passport and my embassy told me that it will take 3 ~ 4 months for my NEW passport to arrive, can i get a 6 months visa in this case? Please advice View

Based on my experience in 2019. If you already applied for 1 year renewal, you can expect the following, provided all other documents are complete:
1. You may get 4-5 month visa, with a note saying “To renew the passport”.
2. You may get a refund, after the renewal is completed.
