I have recently been informed that my post val medical has been rejected and this is due to the fact that I have diabetes caused by acute pancreatitis. I made the appeal through my clinic on the 10th of April and was informed to do further tests and visit a specialist 2 weeks later after the appeal. I was only able to secure an appointment for last 3rd of May and was prescribed medication , however the specialist told me I would only be able to get the letter 2 weeks later, she did process it earlier and gave it to me on Monday the 14th of May. Now my appeal status shows rejected all due to the fact that i have diabetes and I am half way through my semester and I find it harsh for the fact that I might be sent home all becaue of a non- contagious disease which I am controlling . Hence I would like to try and contact information inorder to present my case to the EMGS medical officer .
