Yes you can renew ur passport and when you need to submit your passport for visa renewal
you need to submit both, the old one which has the visa and the new one they will transfer the visa to the new one and renew it. There no problem with that.

In this issue, you’ve to renew your passport before expired then if you want to renew your visa you must submit both passport to the immigration, there is no problem
