I advise you write to EMGS, and tell them your approval is expiring in December, they will tell you how to get another one. Ndlea clearance certificate processing takes 3 weeks, and gathering the required documents alone might take you at least 2-3 weeks. I checked their website, the documents required didn’t even mention the clearance certificate. But I did wrote the embassy last month, they said the certificate is compulsory for certificate, diploma and degree, excluding masters. Still confused, tried calling vfs global but can’t seem to connect

Well I guess to be on a safe side I will just get it … working on it already.. plus the eligibility thing form federal minstry of education, is the same thing as no objection certificate.

No, it applies to both new and old applicants going for Diploma, degree programs. For everyone, not new applicants only.

NDLEA clearance letter takes three months to be out. A piece of advice for you, during the course of your application, make sure all the information you are giving is the truth, do not tell lies because they will come and verify everything to be sure you are not lying. That’s a trap bro. I wish you guys registered everything right after marriage. Anyway, they’re using this new policy to vent applicants. Try to ask her to go talk to them, and also try to apply for your ndlea clearance and eligibility letter as soon as possible. Those alone takes at least 3months to complete. Which university? Wish you luck
