No you heard wrong information. Govt has exempted 2600rm for all. So you just need to pay for the covid test if you get home quarantine approval.
Hi Jimmy,
Beginning 15th November 2021, the Malaysian Government has decided to remove the RM2,600 Quarantine Station Operations charge. You are still required to pay for then the daily quarantine accommodation cost and COVID-19 detection tests.
