It depends. Usually more than a month for appeal cases. Wait for a month and if you don’t receive any update, I suggest you should talk talk to your University. Since uni is directly in contact with Immigration department they can request.

Email EMGS your photos. You can also send photos to university as they are directly in contact with immigration department too. For photos requirement, there is an online tool on EMGS site to check whether you photo meets Immigration requirements or not.

Is there anyone who dealt with name variation issue without changing name or passport documents? I mean, ways other than alternation in documents. Changing name is tedious way to go through. How I can make VAL officer believe that these certificates are mine?

Yes, it is very lengthy process to change name. But, as you may know, many immigration departments do ask for clarifications about names that have been used previously by applicants.
I have a letter from my attended university that those documents belong to one and same person and an affidavit. Could this be helpful?

I get an rejection and I think it is because of name variation in my degree and passport (but I haven\’t recieved any offical reasons). If so, how to overcome these issues?
PS: know the fact changing name on certificates or passport is tedious way to go through. I have a letter from my university stating authenticity of documents belong to me.

Sir, it seems the rejection is due to name variation in my passport and degree. As you may know, it is very common issue in Pakistan. Tell me how to rectify this issue. I have a letter from my attended university stated that those transcripts belongs to one and same person.

I received VAL rejection on 14th Sept. I have talked to my university amd EMGS to know the reason, so that I can appeal. But they said we have send multiple requests to Immigration Deptt but they are not responding. How long will it takes to know the reason ?

I have been denied VAL. To me there are two possible reason and would like to take your opinion which one is reasonable.
1. I hadn\’t paid UTM VAL processing fee of 350 RM
2. The name of my passport and degree mismatch.
What\’s your say on this?
