Hi. We’ve got a lot. First time applicant having gained admission into limkokwing cyberjaya come Feb. My application got rejected and I made an appeal on the 14 of Dec, it took 17 days, that is on the 31st of Dec, that I got a response from EMGS that my appeal is incomplete. If I remember correctly, my application got rejected on the 28th december 2018. I then made the appeal to overturn the rejection the following day and have been waiting ever since. I’m currently in possession of a refugee travel document so now I have to get one from my country of origin. But I don’t know if that’s possible. It’s a good thing that limkokwing knows about the situation. Making an appeal entails a lot. Mine has to do with my medical report. EMGS went as far as contacting my doctor some days back regarding my issue. I pray all ends well by God’s grace.
Did you submit a new passport while making the appeal?

Hi, Chuck! You should get in touch with the staff member who you usually send your documents to. They’re the ones that take care of everything for you. As for there being little chance for your appeal to be approved, it all depends on whether the decision taken was final or not. If it is final, then there’s no chance at all.

@J Wyse, I made the appeal before I could know the reason behind the rejection. I just wrote a letter trying to convince EMGS that my intentions of coming to Malaysia to study were just that and nothing more. I’m also a limkokwing student from Sierra Leone west Africa. For you and limkokwing to write a letter is very good. Just keep on checking. Hopefully all well be resolved soon.

Yes. I was unable to contact them via phone call so It emailed them instead and they responded within 7hrs.
Email service is better.They told me why my application has been rejected at the current stage and that Is should provide a specialist report more like a solid statement from a specialist regarding my condition. Just as you guys…[Read more]

U can always contact EMGS to ask about your status applications. Nothing wrong about it. Unless u submit additional documents then it has to go thru your uni since they are who apply for u. EMGS wont entertain submission by students if the uni apply the VAL.

No. My country doesn’t have an EMGS panel clinic, so I had to do the medical screening at a government hospital. I would like to call now but I noticed operation hour is closed (it’s now 9:41pm). I’m glad they work on public holidays…. So I’ll call them tomorrow morning.

Truth be told, my doctor just deemed me fit and suitable to study abroad but he never wrote a solid statement to back it up. As it stands now, I’m taking all of your suggestions in mind as I make another appeal. I just hope EMGS will allow me to appeal for the second time. And this trip a solid convincing statement from my doctor will be attached…[Read more]

I am not a medical expert so i cant give comment on this emgs surely has their own reasons to reject your application?my friend got hepatitis and got her val rejected too but she appealed and wrote a letter to emgs and immigration complete with doctor statement that her situation is able to fully study in Malaysia and her…[Read more]

Sure. I think you’re right. Maybe that’s what they need. I’ve appealed and filled out an appeal form sent to me from EMGS. I will have to appeal again but this time I will back it up with an appeal letter and doctor’s statement. Thanks a million @julia.

What is the rejection reason? If its final already then im not sure but from what i know immigration will keep rejecting it if you switch major and uni for more than 3x, proven abusing your student visa, and something wrong with yr passport. Any reason why u got rejected?

I think it’s about my medical report. They say I have to to submit a specialist report for a disorder I have. I’ve done that but they still rejected it and asking for the same thing again. What should I do?

So that means if anything is wrong with your medical report it will get rejected before immigration right?

Yes. If emgs sees that you are unfit to study in malaysia they will reject your application. Or ur undergoing long term treatment or having contagious disease.
