Its taking that long? Its almost 4 months. I think they should just close the application and open a new one.
As mentioned above, UPM staff is not ready to take any steps. They are not cooperating, neither they are responding to my queries. I am totally confused.

They are not responding to any of my queries. They are even not ready to do anything. They told my friend that I am not their student! This is the attitude of Officers at UPM.
How is that possible they told u are not their students? You got the offer letter right? That is just outright ridiculous.
Yes I have the offer letter and applied through UPM, now i think they dont want to pursue my case thats why they are coming up with excuses
I’m sorry to hear that,,any way ain’t you got an offer letter from them? And it is still vaild? Are they ask you before to submit somthinag but you don’t?
Besides I advise you to contact other email address such center of academic management or any staff at your host faculty may they help you by contact with thier VDR department to make an action.

I tried and contacted with assistant registrar. She email VDR department head but they did not responded to her as well. I know this because she put me cc when she sent email to head of VDR.
Indeed, this so weird, if everything from your side is fine so no one dare to obstruct this process without explain the reasons behind this,
Can you tell us what is required to continue process the VAL, I mean what the issue, maybe you can contact EMGS officer by email so they can help you with this matter, actually they are so helpful and kind. Contact them and seek thier advice
I also contacted EMGS officer they given me number of advices. I forwarded all to officers at UPM but they never took serious steps. Initially officer at UPM told me that my name and date of birth matched with another passport in immigration thats why progress has been stoped. In their last conversation they said my passport is blacklisted without any reason. I said how this could be possible as i never visited any foreign country in my whole life. In case of Malaysia I never allied for any type of Visa before.
I am a lecturer and Gold Medalist from the best university of country.

That’s so complicated I’m sorry to hear that, you mean they rejected you already!!
May you have to change the university, and start from the beginning with new offer letter and new VAL, if the problem isn’t with the immigration department and the EMGS tried to help you then I think the problem only with your university that they uncooperative
My VAL percentage is 30. And immigration never rejected my case at any stage. They just need more information about me. I provide a range of documents from ministry of interior to ministry of foreign affairs
I provided all kind of documents i can provide and high commission of my country at kuala Lumpur also sent email to officer at upm they even did not replied to high commission. Yes this is true that university is highly uncooperative.
I think may you try to convince EMGS to accept the required documents from you directly as the university didn’t care about this issue
I ll try to contact EMGS and explain whole situation lets see what they can do for me?
