Dear emgs officer ,
There is some problem occurs to my visa application, emgs officer required me to present ielts or conditional offer letter from my previous school since i graduated from malaysian high school. Dear Irene, as per EMGS reply, now you know the reason for the delay. Inform you uni to provide the said document and also inform them if you will be joining late. I hope your issue gets resolved as soon as possible.

That’s cutting too close. I hope you get your eval soon. In the mean time I recommend you liason with your uni to inform them that your joining might get late.

You said the other days tht your took 4 working days right? After that did the status updated ? Im afraid if my documents is insufficient or some problem come up and my uni forgot to tell me

Same thing. No difference. The ‘e’ stand for electronic. The immigration department used to provide VAL (original hard copy) before but in order to speed up the process now they are providing eval as a soft copy for us to download and print on our own.

Yeah it depends on how soon they process it. For me it was 4 working days.

I submitted the payment and documents to my institution almost a month now but my application just online two days ago, so i don’t know if the emgs has received it or not and if they did i’m not sure exactly when

OR
Via the EMGS mobile app by clicking profile and selecting application status. You are required to key in your passport number and select your nationality in order to retrieve your application…[Read more]

Different scores are required for Different Universities
Your institute should provide you with info regarding the minimum passing score of IELTS. Maximum Institutes require atleast 5.5
Aim for 9.0… Get at least 7…. Then you are safe. Although most universities have requirement of 6, how 7 will give you a clear edge over other applicants.
