I just recently renewed my student pass but since i renewed it outside of malaysia the student visa sticker hasn’t been endorsed to my passport yet. I dont know if i still need mtp in thisa case, because by right my student pass is valid

just gonna make it clear even you do the renewal outside Malaysia and you did not endorsed it yet it doesn’t meant that your renewal is completely successful and its true that on the application status it has reach 100% however it is does not show green status which meant is not successful and normally successful renewal will show 100% with green color because i have a friend that have same problem as you require to submit new renewal document because of the 100% with yellow (not green) color and after that EMGS will revise your application again completely and then wait for their respective employee to tell him when they need the passport therefore it is concluded that my friend also require to APPLY SEV again and Travel Authorization even though he is STILL a student and also he thinks that his renewal is complete but the fact is not therefore what i can understand that his visa is still not valid anymore therefore that’s meant if your visa does not valid anymore therefore you still need the Travel Authorization and SEV then you can also confirmed this to the EMGS directly and just gonna let u know that my friend come to malaysia recently also and FYI for your passport problem i suggest you to talk that to the EMGS through your university office since it is a rare case of event since you already done the renewal with an old passport.
