If u visa is expired u should apply for renewal.
Email ur uni to make sure.-
Does it means in order for me to travel to malaysi i have to have travel authorisation and valid student pass ? I thought student with expired student pass can travel if they apply for SEV

If you got both i think you could travel and once again I told you to email ur uni to make sure everything is alright before u travel.

In my case, I applied only for travel authorisation. I do not know what this mytravelpass is.

You just apply TA ,,myvtravel pass is for dependent of workers,students,,,and so on.

Hi! From what I know, starting from Nov 1, you don’t need any Travel Authorization Letter if you have valid student visa. A friend of mine just arrived in KL this morning with a valid student pass, she didn’t apply for any travel authorization.

I just recently renewed my student pass but since i renewed it outside of malaysia the student visa sticker hasn’t been endorsed to my passport yet. I dont know if i still need mtp in thisa case, because by right my student pass is valid

Still need TA if expired ( expired is based on passport endorsement visa status not renewal progress)

just gonna make it clear even you do the renewal outside Malaysia and you did not endorsed it yet it doesn’t meant that your renewal is completely successful and its true that on the application status it has reach 100% however it is does not show green status which meant is not successful and normally successful renewal will show 100% with green…[Read more]

Hi,
Please be informed, effective from 1st November 2021, the Immigration Department of Malaysia will allow International Students with a valid student pass to enter Malaysia without applying for the Travel Authorization via EMGS. Kindly note that the student pass must be valid at the point of entry into Malaysia.

That may be not a serious issue if KLIA & KLIA2 as operated earlier. However you can contact your airline whether your immigration will be completed in KLIA though plane is supposed to land at KLIA 2.

Just present your Travel Autorization, Visa Renewal Screenshot , Old visa and other related document and for more information about document please contact malaysia embassy in your home country and i believe you are from indonesia therefore there is a embassy in jakarta and you can try to contact them by emailing them

Anyone here have entered malaysia from different port of entry as the travel authrisation ?

where does it mention in TA. I found in ‘CC to KLIA immigration’. Is it?
However, before Pandemic there was a demu train between KLIA & KLIA 2. I think you use this if no changed during the pandemic.

try to contact your university supervisor for passport amendment and just try to ask them that you have already renew your passport and for SEV you required to do so because IF YOU STUDENT VISA EXPIRED IN THE PASSPORT you still need to have SEV even you are still studying online therefore try to contact your university to help your passport number…[Read more]

I have a same experience as you and i manage to continue my study in malaysia
Then what you need to do is do student pass renewal with your new passport number if you already done it tell your university to make changes on passport number for renewal.

Yah even i heard of same but then operation cost is still valid as one of my frnd he booked and paid the same.
If you studying in sunway University like me you can easily opt to nook residence.-
Unfortunately sunway located quite far from my uni. May i know when is your friend date of arrival ?

You can actually opt for nook sunway waterfront residence as for sure you will be approved by authorities, if you’re vaccinated then for 7 day’s they will charge 1400rm including meal 3 times per day and if you go for normal quarantine designated by govt then you will be charge 4150 including rt pcr test and 3 times meal per day.-
Hi saif, thankyou for responding my question. Regarding the cost for quarantine station, i though the govt already reduced the price as they no longer incur the operation cost to us anymore, so the cost isn’t supposed to be that much, isn’t it?

@ifrah, is the house is under your name?how are you managing food for 14days as you can’t go out of the house. Please can you please tell me?

House is not under my name it’s owned by a family friend. I will cook my own food my brother also lives in KL so he will arrange for groceries before my arrival but I guess you can still order for home delivery at your door step while in quarantine.

Kindly note that we are yet to receive any update pertaining to home quarantine procedure. As per the buletin we received, all international students arriving to Malaysia are subjected to quarantine at designated government quarantine stations
